Grand piano fallboard brake
Diameter of plate 16 mm + anti-turn stop
We recommend first drilling the recess 10 mm diam., to a depth of 15 mm for the anti-turn stop (position 100° back, measured from the vertical).
Then the main bore 16 mm diam., 30 mm deep for the brake cylinder.
The position of the brake cylinder is usually 31 mm above the lower edge of the fall-board.
The counter fittings are 10 x 40 mm.
