High pressure glue syringe
This glue syringe is for injecting glue at high pressure into cracks or loose wooden joints.
If it is difficult, for example, to take a wobbly chair apart in order to glue it together again,
then a viable alternative might be to drill a small hole in the region where glue is needed and to
inject glue through this hole deep into the wooden joint.
Pick one of two brass tips with nozzle diameters of 1.6 and 0.8 mm to regulate the volume of glue you want to apply.
Use the stainless steel suction tip, supplied as an accessory, to fill the syringe from a glue pot.
Simply unscrew the brass tip, screw on the suction tip, immerse it in a pot of glue, suck in glue by retracting the piston,
then remove the suction tip and screw the brass tip back on. This ensures that the cylinder does not get contaminated with glue.
Alternatively, you can remove the black end cap and the piston to pour the glue into the cylinder.
Looking after your glue gun: Moisten both the thread and the rubber ring before screwing on the tip.
Make sure that the glue does not dry on the cylinder or piston surfaces, eg, by either soaking the tip in water (for a short time)
or by cleaning with water (for a longer time). Because this glue syringe can be stripped down completely, it is quite simple to keep clean.
An occasional drop of oil ensures that the rubber rings stay flexible and do not start leaking.
Capacity 20 ml
Plastic cylinder diameter 24.5 mm
Total length with piston pushed in 170 mm
Total length with piston pulled out 245 mm
